Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Hetki (the "App", "Service"). By creating an account, downloading, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Our story

2. Eligibility

Hetki is intended for users aged 16 and older. You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 16, you may not use the Service.

3. Accounts

  • You are responsible for your account, credentials, and all activity under it.
  • Provide accurate information and keep it updated.
  • Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use or security breach.

4. Health & safety notice (no medical advice)

  • The Service provides wellness and meditation content for informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting or changing any wellness or meditation practice.
  • Stop any activity that causes discomfort, pain, or distress. Do not use the Service while driving.
  • The Service is not designed for emergencies. In an emergency, call local emergency services immediately.

5. Your content

  • You retain any rights you have in your User Content.
  • You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, adapt, and display User Content solely to operate the Service.

6. Generated content

  • Generated Content is provided "as is" for personal, non-commercial use.
  • We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive activities.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or circumvent security.
  • Upload malicious code or interfere with Service operation.
  • Misrepresent your identity or the source of content.

8. Intellectual property

We (and our licensors) own all rights in the Service, including software, interfaces, designs, logos, and content provided by us.

9. Subscriptions and payments

Subscription requirement

Hetki requires an active paid subscription to access app features. We offer monthly and annual subscription plans.

Billing and auto-renewal

  • Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
  • Cancellation must be completed at least 24 hours before your renewal date.
  • After canceling, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled according to the App Store's or Google Play Store's refund policies. Contact Apple or Google directly to request a refund.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy.

11. Service changes and availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We are not liable for any unavailability or modification.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if needed to protect the Service or other users.

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE AND GENERATED CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT OR (B) USD $50.

15. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Helsinki, Finland, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version with the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App.
